How Gela began

Gela began as a personal journey. After struggling for years with sensitive, reactive skin and feeling frustrated by products full of harsh chemicals, our founder started experimenting in her own kitchen. What started as a deeply personal quest soon grew into something more when friends and family began asking for these creations, noticing real changes in their own skin.

Alongside this passion for natural skincare, she is also deeply connected to the ocean — spending countless days sailing and surfing. Living an active, saltwater-filled lifestyle highlighted just how important it is to have skincare that not only feels gentle and natural, but also truly protects, soothes, and restores skin exposed to sun, wind, and sea.
